How to Use the Scientific Calculator

1

Choose Calculator Mode

Toggle between Basic mode for simple arithmetic operations and Scientific mode for advanced mathematical functions including trigonometry, logarithms, and exponentials.

2

Basic Operations

Use the number pad for input and operation buttons (+, -, ×, ÷) for basic calculations. The calculator follows standard order of operations and displays results in real-time.

3

Scientific Functions

In Scientific mode, access trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan), logarithms (log, ln), square roots, powers, factorials, and mathematical constants (π, e).

4

Memory Operations

Use memory functions to store and recall values: MC (Memory Clear), MR (Memory Recall), M+ (Memory Add), and M- (Memory Subtract) for complex calculations.

5

View History

Track your calculations in the history panel. View previous operations, results, and timestamps. Use the share feature to save important calculations.

Scientific Calculator Tips

1

Use Scientific mode for advanced mathematical operations like trigonometry and logarithms

2

Memory functions (MC, MR, M+, M-) help with complex multi-step calculations

3

Trigonometric functions work in degrees - no need to convert from radians

4

Use parentheses (implied order) for complex expressions to ensure correct calculation order

5

The factorial function (!) works for positive integers up to reasonable limits

6

Square root (√) and power (x^y) functions handle both positive and negative numbers appropriately

7

Clear (C) resets everything, while Delete removes only the last entered digit

8

Natural log (ln) and common log (log) provide different logarithmic bases for various calculations

9

Mathematical constants π and e are available for precise scientific calculations

10

History tracking helps you review and verify complex calculation sequences
